Opportunus Wealth Management LLC (“Opportunus”) is a limited liability company under the laws
of the State of Washington. Garrett Dastrup is the principal owner of the firm.
The following paragraphs describe our services and fees. Please refer to the description of the
investment advisory services listed below for information on how we tailor our advisory services to
your individual needs. As used in this Disclosure Brochure, the words “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to
Opportunus Wealth Management LLC and the words “you,” “your,” and “client” refer to you as either
a client or prospective client of our firm.
Types of Advisory Services
Opportunus Wealth Management LLC provides personalized financial planning and portfolio
management services to individuals, retirement plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations with
a particular focus on high income professionals and business owners. Advice is provided through
consultation with the client and may include: assessment of existing financial assets, cash flow and
liabilities, budgeting, determination of financial goals and objectives, investment management,
hedging strategies, tax planning, education funding, retirement planning, estate planning, charitable
giving, and working in collaboration with client’s other professional advisors.
Opportunus acts in a fiduciary capacity with its clients, which means that at all times we owe our
clients the highest legal duty and good faith and trust. As a fiduciary, we are bound ethically to act in
our clients’ best interest and our objective must be aligned with our clients’ best interests. Any
conflicts of interest will be disclosed to the client.
We work with each client to evaluate their overall financial resources and help them to establish
goals and objectives. We believe our best client relationships are a result of our ability to build trust
by communicating effectively and truly listening to each client’s complexities and needs.
Opportunus does not act as a custodian of client assets. Client assets are held at Charles Schwab,
Betterment Securities, or Altruist, which are all independent third-party custodians.
Advisory services are provided under the terms of a written advisory agreement executed by
Opportunus and the client. The advisory agreement sets forth the scope of the services to be provided
and the compensation we receive from the client for such services.
Portfolio Management Services
Opportunus provides portfolio management services for clients within the context of an overall
disciplined financial planning and wealth management process. Portfolio management services
consist of ongoing financial advice and discretionary portfolio management where investment advice
is tailored to meet client circumstances and objectives. These services include an initial discovery
consultation and ongoing review consultations to discuss your unique financial situation and
changing needs over time. We will ask that you complete certain questionnaires and forms to assist
us in gathering information about your financial needs and circumstances. This would include your
investment experience, investment objectives, time horizon, liquidity needs, risk tolerance, tax
circumstances, and various other financial factors necessary for us to develop a complete investor
profile.

Based on our evaluation of those factors, we will use the information we gather to develop a broad-
based financial plan that creates the foundation for providing you with continuous and focused
investment advice. Once we construct an investment portfolio for you, we will monitor your
portfolio’s performance on an ongoing basis and will rebalance the portfolio as appropriate.
Opportunus will provide you with portfolio summary reports on a quarterly basis. Clients are
required to notify our firm immediately if their financial circumstances and/or investment objectives
change from what was previously disclosed.
In order to provide discretionary portfolio management services, we require you to grant our firm
discretionary authority to manage your account. Discretionary authorization allows us to determine
the specific type and quantify of securities to be purchased or sold for your account without your
approval prior to each transaction. In limited circumstances, and only upon our approval, we may
accept client-imposed restrictions on investing in certain specific securities or types of securities.
Financial Planning & Consulting Services
Opportunus offers holistic financial planning and consulting services that typically involve a variety
of advisory services regarding the management of our clients’ financial resources based on our
review and analysis of their needs. If you retain our firm for financial planning and consulting
services, we will meet to discuss your financial circumstances and objectives. Additional follow-up
meetings may be necessary for the purpose of reviewing or collecting additional financial data. Once
such information has been reviewed and analyzed, we will provide you with our financial planning
recommendations that are designed to help you achieve your stated goals and objectives.
Financial planning recommendations are based on your situation at the time we provide our
recommendation and based on the information that you provided our firm. You have the right to
accept or reject our recommendations, and you may choose any firm to assist you with implementing
our recommendations.
As part of our services, clients may engage Opportunus to prepare a written financial plan, which
may include: a net worth statement; a cash flow statement; a review of investment accounts,
including a review of the asset allocation and providing recommendations; strategic tax planning; a
review of retirement accounts and recommendations for changes if necessary; different retirement
scenarios and stress tests; estate planning review and recommendations; and education planning
and funding recommendations.
Embark Today
Embark today is an automated online platform from Betterment Securities powered by Opportunus
that guides clients through the entire investment management process and provides management
services. Clients subscribing to the Embark Today service authorize Opportunus to select money
managers to implement our proprietary portfolio models. As part of the Embark Today investment
management service, clients provide information about their financial goals. Based on the
information provided, the appropriate model portfolio is selected for the client. We generally create
diversified model portfolios of investments consisting of low-cost exchange traded funds (“ETFs”),
mutual funds, and other similar equity-related index funds, stocks, or investment products tailored
to the client’s specific needs. Information about the client’s model portfolio is available on the online
platform, which includes their investment style, objectives, and a list of ETFs and other investments
with shares that are included in and traded through them. The client can also submit
or modify risk
preferences, investment objectives, investment size and any other restrictions for their accounts

directly through the online platform. The money managers will periodically rebalance client model
portfolios based upon the client’s individual needs, stated goals, and objectives. Before selecting
money managers, we make sure that they are properly licensed or registered. Clients who subscribe
to this service will enter into a dual contract with us and Betterment Securities.
Institutional Intelligent PortfoliosTM
Our firm may provide portfolio management services through Institutional Intelligent Portfolios™,
an automated, technology and service platform made available by Schwab Performance Technologies
(“SPT”) to independent investment advisors (“Advisors”) who maintain a business relationship with
Schwab Advisor Services™, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (“Schwab”). IIP is used by Advisors
to provide their clients with an automated investment management service. Schwab, a registered
broker-dealer and member SIPC, provides custody, trading and support services. Brokerage
products, including the Schwab One® brokerage account, are offered by Schwab. SPT and Schwab
are separate companies affiliated as subsidiaries of The Charles Schwab Corporation, but their
products and services are independent from each other. The minimum investment required to open
an account in the Program is $5,000.
Retirement Plan Consulting Services
Opportunus provides retirement plan consulting services to employer plan sponsors on an ongoing
basis. Generally, such consulting services consist of assisting employer plan sponsors in establishing,
monitoring, and reviewing the company's participant-directed retirement plan. As the needs of the
plan sponsor dictate, areas of advising could include: investment options, plan structure and
participant education. Retirement Plan Consulting services typically include:
• Establishing an Investment Policy Statement – Our firm will assist in the development of a
statement that summarizes the investment goals and objectives along with the broad
strategies to be employed to meet the objectives.
• Investment Options – Our firm will work with the plan sponsor to evaluate existing
investment options and make recommendations for appropriate changes.
• Asset Allocation and Portfolio Construction – Our firm will develop strategic asset allocation
models to aid participants in developing strategies to meet their investment objectives, time
horizon, financial situation, and tolerance for risk.
• Investment Monitoring – Our firm will monitor the performance of the investments and
notify the client in the event of over/underperformance and in times of market volatility.
In providing services for retirement plan consulting, Opportunus does not provide any advisory
services with respect to the following types of assets: employer securities, real estate (excluding real
estate funds and publicly traded REITS), participant loans, non-publicly traded securities or assets,
other illiquid investments, or brokerage window programs (collectively, “Excluded Assets”). All
retirement plan consulting services shall be in compliance with the applicable state laws regulating
retirement consulting services. This applies to client accounts that are retirement or other employee
benefit plans (“Plan”) governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as
amended (“ERISA”). If the client accounts are part of a Plan, and our firm accepts appointment to
provide services to such accounts, our firm acknowledges its fiduciary standard within the meaning
of Section 3(21) or 3(38) of ERISA as designated by the Retirement Plan Consulting Agreement with
respect to the provision of services described therein.

Under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and other applicable federal and state securities laws,
Opportunus has a fiduciary duty, as an investment adviser, to act in the best interest of the client.
While Opportunus may have specific responsibilities under ERISA to disclose its ERISA fiduciary
services separately from its non-ERISA fiduciary services, this does not affect Opportunus’
investment adviser fiduciary duty to the Client.
Our firm utilizes the sub-advisory services of a third-party investment advisory firm or individual
advisor to aid in the implementation of an investment portfolio designed by our firm. Before selecting
a firm or individual, our firm will ensure that the chosen party is properly licensed or registered. Our
firm will not offer advice on any specific securities or other investments in connection with this service.
We will provide initial due diligence on third-party money managers and ongoing reviews of their
management of client accounts. In order to assist in the selection of a third-party money manager, our
firm will gather client information pertaining to the financial situation, investment objectives, and
reasonable restrictions to be imposed upon the management of the account.
Our firm will periodically review third-party money manager reports provided to the client at least
annually. Our firm will contact clients from time to time in order to review their financial situation
and objectives; communicate information to third-party money managers as warranted; and assist
the client in understanding and evaluating the services provided by the third-party money manager.
Clients will be expected to notify our firm of any changes in their financial situation, investment
objectives, or account restrictions that could affect their financial standing.
Types of Investments
Opportunus offers advice on exchange trades funds (ETFs), equity securities, fixed income securities
(corporate, agency, and government issued bonds), CDs, mutual funds, REITS, and alternative
investments. Additionally, we may advise you on any type of investment that we deem appropriate
based on your stated goals and objectives. We may also provide advice on any type of investment
held in your portfolio at the inception of our advisory relationship.
Tailored Advisory Services
Opportunus provides clients with tailored advisory services for each of the aforementioned
arrangements (Portfolio Management, Financial Planning and Consulting, Embark Today,
Institutional Intelligent Portfolios, and Retirement Plan Consulting) based on client needs and
objectives that are identified during the initial and ongoing consultations. Clients may request that
we refrain from investing in particular securities or type of securities and must provide such stated
restrictions to our firm in writing.
Wrap Fee Program
Opportunus does not sponsor or manage wrap fee portfolio management programs.
Assets Under Management
Our firm has $68,374,398 in assets under management on a discretionary basis, as well as
$260,000,000 in assets under advisement in retirement plan assets.
