Overview

Positive Selection Investment Management, LLC (“Positive Selection” or the “Firm”), a Delaware limited liability company, is an investment adviser that focuses on venture capital investments in the biotechnology industry. The Firm was founded in 2024 and is located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Michael Aberman and Jay Markowitz are the Firm’s principal owners and co-Managing Members. Positive Selection provides discretionary investment advisory services to a single pooled investment vehicle (the “Fund”). If in the future Positive Selection expands its investment advisory offering to include additional pooled investment vehicles or other types of clients or services, the Firm will amend this Brochure accordingly. An affiliate of the Firm serves as the general partner to the Fund (the “General Partner”). The Firm and General Partner provide administrative and management services to the Fund. The Fund offers limited

partnership interests (“Interests”) to certain qualified investors as described in response to Item 7 below (such investors are referred to herein as “Limited Partners ”). The Fund will focus on making equity and equity-related investments in public and private portfolio companies operating in the healthcare sector and is described more fully in its limited partnership agreement (referred to herein as the “Governing Document”). Advisory services are tailored to achieve the investment objective of the Fund. The General Partner has the authority to select the investments and to determine the exit strategies at its sole discretion. Positive Selection does not participate in wrap fee programs. As of May 16, 2024, Positive Selection has approximately $24,900,000 of regulatory assets under management on a discretionary basis. The Firm does not manage assets on a non-discretionary basis.
