A. IFP is a registered investment advisory firm which provides investment management and financial
planning services to its clients. It was established on January 2, 2002 in the state of Virginia, and was
registered in the state of Florida on September 7, 2022.
IFP's investment advisory and financial planning services are provided to its clients on a completely
independent basis. Accordingly, and as described further in this brochure, IFP receives all of its
compensation from its clients; the firm does not maintain compensated business agreements with any
other financial firms, including, but not limited to, banks, brokerages, and insurance companies. All
investment and financial planning research, and all other services provided by IFP, are performed by
Michael Joseph Trimble, the sole owner and investment advisory representative of IFP, date of birth
5/5/63.
Trimble is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. 1985) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (or "
ChFC"). The ChFC designation is awarded by the American College of Bryn Mawr, PA, based upon the
successful completion of ten courses related to various financial planning subjects. Since January 2, 2002,
Trimble has been the manager of IFP. Between January 1, 1994 and January 1, 2002, he was the sole
proprietor of "Trimble International Financial Planning", a financial planning and investment advisory
firm.
And between September 5, 1985 and December 31, 2001, he was employed by various firms in the
investment, insurance and financial planning industries.
B. Investment advisory advice is provided for all types of securities, with the exception of futures contracts
and commercial paper.
Comprehensive financial planning advice is provided in, but not limited to, the areas of cash flow and debt
management, tax planning, retirement planning, education planning, estate planning, risk
management/insurance planning, investment planning and employee benefit planning.
C. Investment advisory services are tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. Allocations among
types of securities (such as stocks and bonds), and sectors of the market (such as the industrial and
technology sectors) are based upon an evaluation of individual client needs and objectives. Clients may
impose restrictions on the types of securities, and/or specific securities, held in their account by stating their
restrictions.
D. Wrap fee accounts are not provided by IFP.
E. As of July 8, 2023, IFP managed a total of $28,818,000 for 4 clients. Of this total, $10,814,000 was
managed on a discretionary basis (i.e., all investment decisions were made by IFP), and $18,004,000 was
managed on a non-discretionary basis (i.e., all investment decisions were made by client).
